Ordering could not be simpler as we have no minimum quantities. Every item is available in singles, which means you buy exactly what you want or need. We accept orders by phone, email, website and post. All we need to process your order is the item code number and the quantity you require. If you know your customer number it does help us to locate your details quickly, but don’t worry if you don’t know it, as we’ll trace your account from your business name and town. New customers will be given a customer number and log in details to our website when they place their first order.

The minimum order value is £250 and for the UK will be sent carriage free. For any destination outside the UK carriage will be charged at cost.

If we are unable to deliver items and the value is less than £30 we shall cancel those remaining pieces. Goods with a value greater than £30 are held on back order. Once stock arrives you will be contacted to see if the goods are still required. With a back order value below £75 you will need to add available stock to trigger dispatch. You are welcome to add any items to a back order and they will be sent once back order stock becomes available.

East of India is a trade only supplier, we require evidence of business trading before supplying any new customer. We reserve the right to reject any application that we feel is not ‘bona fide’ trade and to refuse any prospective customer if their location could be detrimental to the trade of an existing account.

All customers wishing to open a credit account will need to provide three trade references giving full details to include telephone numbers and email addresses.

All overseas customers must provide us with their EORI / VAT number. When making payment for your order please ensure that you pay all bank fees. Charges incurred on entry to your country will be notified by customs / courier and are payable by you. If these charges are left unpaid and goods returned to us we will deduct, from your refund, any costs we receive from the courier.

All current products and prices are exclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to alter prices and products if necessary. Limited re-allocation of product codes may take place, together with redundant product codes being re-used when required. Products and ranges are occasionally updated and may therefore differ from those pictured.

We are happy to accept payment by bank transfer, cheque or by Mastercard and Visa. Credit terms are for account customers only. East of India retains title to all goods supplied until full payment has been received.

Despite our quality assurance efforts, damages can occasionally occur in production or transit and order processing errors can occur. Please inspect all goods carefully upon receipt and notify us of any damages or errors within 7 days. We also kindly ask you to document the claim with photos to be sent to us at sales@eastofindia.co.uk. We will provide you with an authorisation number which is required for all returns. Goods returned without authorisation will not be credited for postage costs.  All returns must be sent via Royal Mail second class delivery and postage will only be refunded to this value. For authorised returns, please pack the product carefully in our original packaging to avoid damage in transit. Any product returned with price stickers or other markings or without its original packaging may incur a 25% re-stocking fee.
